Engineering Design validation we would confirm through the use of rigorous analysis tools including, FEA (Finite Element Analysis – Structural, Modal, Thermal), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), DFM/A (Design For Manufacture / Assembly) and Geometrical Tolerance Analysis.
We have in house 3D Printing capability including both SLA and FDM processes for prototype parts. We help clients protect their designs or inventions by drafting and submitting Registered Designs or Trademarks with the UK Intellectual Property Office. We also produce preliminary Patent drafts and work closely with IP Lawyers to protect novel inventions / products within the UK and Internationally.

Seek to understand, rather than assume. In the initial discovery phase we spend time with people who are affected by the issues or gaps to ensure the problem being solved is the correct one and capture this in a requirements brief.
Work up potential solutions to the problem and assess their viability against the requirements established in stage 1.
Seeking inspiration from elsewhere and co-designing with an appropriately skilled cross functional team, the preferred solutions are developed into working designs.
Depending on the scope of engagement, delivery may involve testing out different solutions at small-scale with prototypes or the full support of final production parts with formal qualification.
